Dedication
So I got there at about 8:30 with my friend and the dude at the door looked very intimidating so we waited. When the bouncer er whatever changed, we saw he was barely looking at ids. I went up and he looked at mine for a while, and said I had to be 18 to enter -_- I told him i was turning 18 in only about 4 months, that I was there for one band, that I bought a ticket, that my friend was my guardian. He got pretty annoyed so my friend and I walked around to the back door. I waited for people to come out. I saw three guys come out to smoke that were probably one of the bands (At this point my friend left me to watch you guys) I told them my situation but they said there was security at the back door too and they were really sorry. I didn’t care so when they walked away, I tried getting in the back but the security guy got pretty pissed and said I wasn’t supposed to be sneaking in through the back. I told him I was turning 18 soon-ish, I was there for Republic of Lights, I bought my ticket, I’m a huge fan, and that I could leave as soon as your set was over but he didn’t give one fuck. I was hoping I’d see one of you when I went through the back but you guys were playing. So all I could do was call my friend (who by the way is younger than me but she looks exactly like her 19 yr old sister so she used her id) so she could hold up the phone while you guys played. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time :’( I heard you all played and sang lovely.
Right on, girlie. We’ll make sure you get taken care of at the next show.
